| Egypt Demands Emperor Hair
Paris, Feb 26 (Prensa Latina) Jean-Michel Diebolt, a French postman from Grenoble, thought he had found found a gold-mine with the sale of locks of hair from the Egyptian emperor Ramses II, but ended up in jail and now the mummy's hairs are demanded by diplomatic way. The Central Office of Cultural Assessment in this capital has the remains of one of the most famous Pharaohs that ruled Egypt between 1224 and 1279 before Christ. The mummy of User-Maat-Ra Setep-En-Ra Ramses Meri Amon, better known as Ramses II, was deteriorating for unknown reasons and was moved from El Cairo to Paris in 1976. For its production run of Samson et Delila, the Dayton Opera is teaming up with Locks of Love, a nonprofit group that provides wigs for children who have lost their hair because of illness and related medical treatment. The wigs are made from hair donated by volunteers. .
